Bendy & the Ink Machine

Bendy and the Ink Machine provides a story that helps to ruin your fondest memories of childhood with cartoon animations. It answers questions you never knew you had like “what if Walt Disney was a Satanist?” Blending a unique atmosphere of 1930’s animation, mixed with lighting and haunting visuals at points to create a wonderfully creepy mood of the setting. You unlock tapes and solve puzzles, while dodging horrors within the studio. The game works at not entirely relying on jump scares to create horror, instead working on creating a growing dread and tension, creating unease within the player. The gameplay is, admittedly, a little poor. The game does not last long, and the puzzles are not hard to solve at all. Despite this, it creates a wonderfully creepy atmosphere, while making an intriguing story that leaves just enough out to allow fans to theory-craft what actually happened.
